Honiton Charter Day

What's on this year?

All day will see the traditional Honiton street market, with numerous stalls dressing to mark the occasion.

There will be the annual Classic Car Show over Allhallows, put on by Honiton Lions, as well as a fine selection of fun and entertainment, bouncy castle, plate smashing, boot sale, refreshments and a bbq plus much more...

We're having the dog show again, after a great response last year, kindly organised by Bordercombe Kennels and sponsored by Creature Comforts.  Anyone with a four legged friend can enter their pooch into the fun classes; can your canine 'leave the sausage' or whose dog has the 'waggiest tail'?! Prizes and rosettes for the best in their class!

There's going to be charity stalls down Northcote Lane raising funds and awareness for all their good causes.

We've got a whole range of entertainment on in the High Street including, among others, Stan John Bagpiper, Exewing, Punch & Judy and the Honiton Tudor Dancers, being held at various locations including St Pauls, The Baptist Church, Abbeyfield, and the library.

The library are going be open where there will be a display of 'Honiton heroes'. A short biography of all those who are listed on Honiton War Memorial who fell in WWI.

Or you can simply come along, and laugh at the stallholders and various shops, around the town who are dressing themselves and their shops/stalls up for the day.  Many are putting on their own displays and curiosities.
